Thick smog, horrible traffic, and dicey neighborhoods are just some of the horror stories we locals tell the tourists so we can keep this city all to ourselves.  Ok so some of those things are true, but Downtown Los Angeles has recently been renovated to be chic and glamorous.  In fact Downtown Los Angeles offers some of the best shopping in Southern California.  If you know the right places to go this may be the shopping Mecca you’ve been looking for! While the Southern California wine country cannot rival that in Northern California, you can still experience gorgeous wine country during your Southern California vacation.  There are several places in California where you can find wineries: Santa Barbara, San Diego, Solvang, Lompoc, and Buellton all offer wine country amenities, however Temecula seems to be the Mecca of Southern California wineries.  (more…)
